Nathalie Tamwo, the designer and founder of the brand is from Cameroon and has lived in France since 2004. She created the Nathalie Tôma brand in 2021.
Nathalie competed her initial training in finance. She then went on to complete training as a fashion designer at the Esmod Roubaix and Paris school, culminating in her Master 2 “Director of design” diploma in 2020.
She is inspired by the codes of African and European culture through prints, bright colors and the richness of textile materials. Moreover, she contributes to a textile industry that wants to be more environmentally friendly. Nathalie does this by giving a second life to textiles not used by the textile sector and by restoring value to textile waste through upcycling.
